NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila - The Chief of the Chaplain Service (TCCHS) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Brig. Gen. Daniel Tansip accentuated the importance of upholding the spiritual and moral well-being of military and civilian personnel during his visit at Philippine Navy (PN) headquarters on Wednesday, March 13.
Flag Officer In Command, Vice Adm. Toribio Adaci Jr., welcomed BGen. Tansip during the courtesy call where they had exchanges on matters about the current thrust and direction of the Chaplain Service in support of personnel services, as well as bolstering the recruitment efforts for chaplains in the AFP.
The Navy Chief also took the opportunity to congratulate BGen. Tansip on his recent promotion and recognize the significance of his new role in leading the Chaplain Service. He likewise assured BGen. Tansip of the PN's full support for his plans which are aimed at enhancing the Chaplain Service in the AFP, emphasizing the importance of spiritual care, guidance, and support for military personnel and their families.
