NETDC Deputy Commander earns 1st star

NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila -  Philippine Navy (PN) Chief, Vice Adm. Toribio Adaci Jr. presided over the donning of rank ceremony for the Deputy Commander of Naval Education, Training, and Doctrine Command (NETDC) who was promoted to the rank of Commodore on Tuesday, January 16 at the PN headquarters.

The Navy Chief hailed Commo. Salvador Lavapie Jr., on his new career milestone and reminded him that "leaders are the compass that sets the future and spearheads the organization’s path.”

“I hope that you will embrace this as a welcome challenge to better serve our nation and our navy in the future,” the Navy Chief added during his remarks.

Commo. Lavapie Jr. expressed his appreciation to everyone who has been instrumental in achieving this new chapter in his military career.

“As I embark on this new chapter, I carry the lessons of trust and humility. Your belief in my capabilities is both inspiring and motivating, and I am fully committed to continuing my dedication to the organization and service,” he concluded during his remarks.
