NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila – The Philippine Navy conducted a Donning of Ranks Ceremony for eight (8) General and Flag Officers presided over by the Flag Officer In Command, PN, Vice Admiral Jose Ma Ambrosio Q Ezpeleta PN, on January 16, 2025 at the Navy Headquarters.
The following are the Navy and Marine Officers whose appointments were recently approved by the Commander In Chief, Armed Forces of the Philippines:
1. Rear Admiral Florante N Gagua PN - Commander, Naval Installation Command
2. Rear Admiral Juario C Marayag PN - Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command
3. Major General Doroteo Jose M Jalandoni PN(M) - Commander, Naval Reserve Command
4. Commodore Ireneo D Battung PN - Commander, Sealift Amphibious Force, Philippine Fleet
5. Brigadier General Bayani V Curaming PN(M) - Commander, 2nd Marine Brigade
6. Commodore Andro Val P Abayon PN - Commander, Naval Special Operations Command
7. Commodore Richard M David PN - Deputy Commander, Naval Education, Training and Doctrine Command
8. Commodore Jeff Rene S Nadugo PN - Commander, Naval Combat Engineering Brigade
“Today’s Donning of Ranks Ceremony is a reflection of the hard work, dedication and leadership you have demonstrated throughout your respective careers. It also serves as a reminder of what lies ahead as you take on even greater responsibilities in fulfilling our Navy’s vision of a modern and multi-capable naval force,” said Vice Admiral Ezpeleta PN as he congratulated the newly promoted Navy and Marine leaders.
The ceremony also recognizes their performance and commitment to the Philippine Navy and shows the importance of their leadership in advancing the Navy's mission and capabilities.
