NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila – The Philippine Navy, led by the Flag Officer In Command, Vice Admiral Jose Ma Ambrosio Q Ezpeleta received solar-powered lights and freezers from Delgado Brothers (DELBROS) Group intended for Navy units in the remote areas of operation and islands during a Ceremonial Handover Ceremony conducted on February 06, 2024 at the Navy Headquarters.
“In these challenging times, you all, especially in our Navy, are at the forefront of our national sovereignty. And while not every citizen can serve in our military, I believe all Filipinos, especially those of us in the business sector, have a responsibility to support our service members in any way that we can. All of us at DELBROS pray these solar-powered lights and freezers make your lives, while in service, a little safer and perhaps, even more comfortable,” said DELBROS Chairperson, Mr. Jose Eduardo C Delgado.
Vice Admiral Ezpeleta then expressed gratitude to the DELBROS Group for their generosity and support to Navy troops especially those who are assigned in island stations.
“Your initiatives towards sustainability and innovation aligns with our efforts to adapt to the changing demands of modern naval operations. Together, we are not only strengthening the Navy but also guarding the lives of the people we are sworn to serve,” Vice Admiral Ezpeleta said.
The Ceremonial Handover Ceremony highlights the strong partnership between DELBROS Group and the Philippine Navy, and underscores the vital role of public-private collaboration in the shared responsibility of Filipinos in upholding the country’s sovereignty and security.
