NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila - Philippine Navy (PN) Flag Officer In Command, Vice Admiral Toribio Adaci Jr., presided over the Joint Donning of Rank Ceremony for three newly promoted Commodores (Commo.)/Brigadier General (BGen.) and 18 Navy Captains/Colonels on Friday, January 26 at the PN headquarters.

In his remarks, VAdm. Adaci lauded the honorees and underscored their individual performance, achievements, and track records which had gone through meticulous consideration and scrutiny by the promotion board, that made them truly deserving of their promotions.

He went on reminding them as they “assume key leadership roles, you will become even more visible to the entire Navy. You are moving up and accorded a higher level of trust because our organization believes in your capacity to lead it to greater heights.”

Headlining the promotees are:

BGen Rodyer dela Peña - Deputy Commander of Naval Installation Command (NIC)

Commo Lemuel Espartinez - Deputy Commander of Naval Reserve Command (NRC)

Commo Jerry Garido Jr. - Commander of Naval Intelligence and Security Force (NISF)
