Sen. Padilla acknowledged this event as a pivotal milestone in the collaboration between the two institutions, especially with the Navy’s crucial role in reinforcing national security as the country pushes forward its maritime security and archipelagic defense posture.

He also expressed high hopes for this initiative to create a ripple effect on more Filipinos to become active partners in national security and disaster preparedness.

Vice Adm. Adaci thanked the Senator for actively supporting the PN through bolstering its reservists who also serve as the ambassadors promoting the objectives and bringing the services of the PN to the public.

The Navy Chief likewise conveyed appreciation to Senator Padilla for promoting the modernization and capability enhancement of the country's naval organization which is vital to its resolve to become a modern and multi-capable force for the country’s defense and development.
