SOLCOM Chief pays exit call on PH Navy Chief

NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila –  The Commander of the AFP Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM), Army Lt. Gen. Efren Baluyot, visited the Philippine Navy (PN) headquarters on Tuesday, February 20, for an exit call on the Flag Officer In Command, Vice Adm. Toribio Adaci Jr.

The Navy Chief hailed the retiring SOLCOM commander for the outstanding service, leadership, and unwavering dedication to duty throughout his remarkable 35-year military career that also contributed to the accomplishment of the Navy’s mandates.

In response, Lt. Gen. Baluyot thanked the Navy Chief for the warm reception during his farewell visit. He also conveyed his gratitude to the entire Philippine Navy for the invaluable support and collaboration throughout his tenure.

Lt. Gen. Baluyot is a member of the Philippine Military Academy "Makatao" Class of 1989. Before assuming the SOLCOM’s helm, he served with distinction as the 24th Commander of the Armor "Pambato" Division of the Philippine Army, showcasing his exceptional leadership skills and commitment to service.
