NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila - In time with the celebration of the Women’s Month, 12 women were among the graduates of the Basic Citizen Military Course (BCMC) on March 9 in Basco, Batanes, making them new PN reservists in a monumental event that underscores the growing participation and contribution of women in the defense and security sector.

Out of the 119 BCMC graduates, 10 females are marine reservists while the other two are sailor reservists — all showcasing leadership, dedication, and determination, and the diverse talents and capabilities that women bring to the forefront of military service.

The graduation ceremony served as a testament to the unwavering dedication of the PN to fostering an environment where all individuals, regardless of gender, have equal opportunities to excel and contribute to national security.
