PH Navy hosts joint courtesy call of Outgoing and Incoming Australian Assistant Defense Attachés

NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila – The Philippine Navy welcomed the outgoing and incoming Assistant Defense Attachés of Australia to the Philippines during a joint courtesy call on January 10, 2025 at the Navy Headquarters.

The Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Adm. Alan Javier, represented the Flag Officer In Command and received the outgoing Assistant Defense Attaché LtCol. Tim Lopsik and his successor, LtCol. Noel Young.

PH Navy welcomes newly promoted General and Flag Officers during a courtesy visit

NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila — The Philippine Navy, headed by the Flag Officer In Command, Rear Admiral Jose Ma Ambrosio Q Ezpeleta welcomed newly promoted Marine General and Two Flag Officers during their visit to the Navy Headquarters on January 10, 2025. 

Major Gen. Ivan Papera PN(M), Chief of the AFP Systems Engineering and Modernization Office; Rear Adm. Felipe Bautista, the Deputy Chief of Staff for C4ISTAR, J6; and Commo. Alex Gianan, the Assistant DCS for Financial Management, J10, then paid a joint courtesy call to the Flag Officer In Command, PN.

NAVAL FORCES WEST WELCOMES NEW COMMANDER

Headquarters Naval Forces West, Puerto Princesa City – Naval Forces West (NFW) installed its new Commander in a Change of Command Ceremony presided by the Flag Officer In Command, Philippine Navy, Rear Admiral Jose Ma Ambrosio Q Ezpeleta PN on January 06, 2025, at Naval Station Apolinario Jalandoon, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan 

Rear Admiral Alan M Javier Philippine Navy formally relinquished his duties and responsibilities over Naval Forces West to Commodore Vincent J Sibala Philippine Navy after steering the Command for two (2) years and eight (8) months. RAdm Javier PN assumes as the new Chief of Naval Staff, Philippine Navy.
