The Naval Forces Northern Luzon (NFNL), headed by COMMO EDWARD IKE M DE SAGON PN, Commander, NFNL, celebrated its 47th Anniversary with VADM TORIBIO D ADACI JR PN, Flag Officer in Command, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, at Naval Station Ernesto Ogbinar Gym, Poro, City of San Fernando, La Union.

A Side Boys Honor to VADM ADACI during the arrival was rendered by Naval Forces Northern Luzon. During the activity, COMMO DE SAGON congratulated the Officers, Enlisted Personnel, Civilian Human Resources of NFNL, and its OPCON/TACON units along with its stakeholders for achieving another milestone of service, highlighting NFNL's successful operations and community engagements, emphasizing the importance of delivering only high-quality standard service to stakeholders despite the challenges experienced while protecting and securing maritime areas. Subsequently, an awarding ceremony took place during the activity to recognize selected personnel's exemplary performance, dedication, and commitment to service that contributed to the success of the command mission. Greetings and gratitude were extended by the Flag Officer in Command to NFNL, all the awardees, and stakeholders, commending NFNL for earning the prestigious title of Best Naval Operating Forces, reflecting the evident commitment and high standard of excellence that NFNL continuously upholds and underscores in enhancing the capabilities and cooperation with the entire Naval Force. VADM ADACI further highlighted the illustration of the NFNL's achievements of being a reliable partner for the peace and progress of Northern Luzon. The unwavering support of stakeholders in fulfilling mission-essential requirements and enhancing the warfighting capabilities of naval units across joint, combined, and interagency operations within the Northern Luzon Area of Responsibility was also recognized.

This celebration served as a testament to the NFNL for continually standing as a pillar of strength,  dedication, and commitment to protecting Philippine waters, strengthening national security, and promoting maritime development.
